Sarah Wenzel
Sarah Wenzel is a paralegal for Kizy Law and has been with the firm since 2013. She is an instrumental part of the firm and is able to assist clients in day-to-day matters and answer questions about court procedure. She also efficiently handles case filings for each of our matters.
Twelve years deep in the trenches of family law, Sarah is the paralegal powerhouse behind the curtain — drafting motions, slinging subpoenas, and making courtroom chaos make sense. She blends razor-sharp legal instincts with a fierce commitment to detail. Whether it’s chasing down financials or finessing a parenting plan, her work does not just support — it helps steer every case in the right direction.
A graduate of Oakland Community College with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Sarah furthered her education there with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. Sarah joined the State Bar of Michigan Paralegal Section and the Oakland County Bar Association in 2016.
Sarah is also a mother of an active toddler and has been a stepmother for nine years, giving her firsthand experience with the challenges that can arise in split-family dynamics. Her personal insight allows her to approach family law matters with both professional expertise and genuine empathy.
